i've tried to write a song to you

saying that i really needed you

but i can't find the correct words to say

and not even a note to play

i've tried to write a poetry with rhyme

trying to say i wanna make you mine

but still i cant find the correct phrase

so i throw the paper into vase

i've tried to pass a note through a friend

but end up keep it in my pocket

cause i really don't know how to explain

then decided to bought you a locket

i drive seventy miles across the city

with a white shimmery box in my hand

have to shout the feeling that grows inside me

and really hope you will understand
